Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Personal Assistant to provide support and assistance to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have experience working with people with autism and dementia, possess strong organizational skills, and be compassionate towards others.

Responsibilities:

- Assist individuals with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Implement behavior management techniques to support individuals with challenging behaviors
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment
- Respect and uphold resident rights and confidentiality (HIPAA)
- Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals
- Assist with heavy lifting and physical tasks as needed

Requirements:

- Experience working with individuals with autism and dementia
- Proficiency in utilizing systems to manage tasks efficiently
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
- Knowledge of resident rights and HIPAA regulations
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Compassionate attitude towards those in need
